The main adverse reactions were hematologic toxicity. The manifestations were : WBC, neutrophile granulocyte, blood platelet and hemoglobin all decreased, then was digestive canal symptoms.
These vascular effects lead to thickening of blood vessel walls and enhance blood platelet stickiness, increasing the likelihood that clots will form and trigger heart attacks and strokes.
Platelets. The blood platelets are actually cell fragments rather than complete cells. Platelets are formed in the bone marrow from giant multinucleated cells called megakaryocytes.
